Zagriel was born in Ishgard, however after her birth Whitewillow family immediately moved to Gridania. Her mom died giving birth to her so in hopes of giving Zagriel a more safe upbringing (safer than Ishgard and it's war with dragons could offer) her father took her and their handmaid and moves in the outskirts of Gridania where she grew up behind closed doors. Elezen's father, Samuel wasn't keen on letting her go outside to play in the wilds, but it never pained the young duskwight. She had plenty of space to play in inside the cottage, a good company of her handmaid and most importantly all the books her father could spare for her. Ever since she could read, Zagriel would spend most if not all of her time reading about the world on the other side of the windows. The great stories of kings and heroes, magical and mystical places far beyond the seas. She was enthralled by it all, and in helps with her father she never was lacking in reading material as he loved buying books for his little bookworm.
However years has passed and a young duskie grew up to be a young lady. She was taught manners and minor magic by her handmaid, but also basis of combat from her father. Although the latter was something she was never good with, Zagriel did show promising signs of aether manipulation. That plus all the knowledge of the books in her home readied her, as when she reached 18 years of age young lady ventured out in the great beyond. To see first hand of all the things she read about and meet all the people she can. Zagriel would earn her coin performing story telling to people on the road and sometimes selling minor alchemy potions to residents of places she passed through. She was good at talking people's ear off, telling them stories just believable enough to be obscure and enticing. Elezen would later gain the titles of ''Traveling Witch'' and to some ''Lightbringer'' for she yearned to give people she met the same feeling of wonder as she had when she was little. Nowadays duskwight occupies herself with all sorts of oddjobs, keeping on the road as she yet travels to meet all kinds of people.

Zagriel is quite open to chat with just about anyone because of her upbringing. Here are a few hooks you can use to approach her.

  • She loves clothes shopping. If you are a merchant or a weaver of sorts Zagriel would love to have some commissions made.

  • As a story teller she is always looking for new stories to tell. If you are a far traveler or an adventurer more than likely she will ask you to tell your tales of travel and quests you've been on.

  • Uppon a quick glance one can see some unnatural traits in her appearance. Her eyes are the most obvious one that sticks out. Those versed in occult might catch on some things.

Hey, this is the player behind Zagriel. Would like to start by saying that I am not my character (obviously) and things I say in character do not reflect myself as a person out of game. I am 21+ and from Europe though my sleep schedule is an endless slinky toy and it jumps around so you may find me online and odd times of day or night. I do all kinds of rp but my favorite by far is casual one, that is not to say I'm not interested in other kinds as variety is lovely and roleplay is all fun. I'm a firm believer that roleplay requires cooperation and you need at least two people to rp. Otherwise it's just story telling.
